FULL VIEW PLEASE, I WORKED HARD
The title spawned from that whole Peacemaker castle thing. It wouldn't let me use the name 'ratrinadragon' because that girl had been using it.SO, I came up with that one.It's not my new name or anything, I just like the ring of it. Black because she's black, carriage beast because she's big like a draft horse..and beast because..I like the ring of it too.XD
As for the image? The lighting? I dont believe there is any real set lighting. I'm working on things like lighting,more details,backrounds.This is a step up for me.
I worked on this for a while. At least 16+ hours in photoshop 7.0, I made my own fur brushes, but I used Vampire Mackenzie's tutorial in order to do so, so this picture would not be complete without that tutorial.<3 thanks !

It's just the best way to render my hair color. It's a golden/red color in sunlight.
Why the backround? Well, It was monsoon season when I started this. I love the desert monsoon season so much.I had to put that in the backround. It's just..beautiful.
I KNOW her face is off, and in a few weeks, I can tell you more about what's off.(I always look at my old art to see how far i've gotten). So try not to crit to much. >.< I always critique myself harder anyways..
I LOVE digital painting. I want to do more digital paintings. It's just.Fun. And more backrounds, even if I can't draw clouds for shit.(I tried using tutorials for those to, but ended up just doing my own thing in the end.Looks good zoomed out, but not zoomed in, lol)
I figured I needed a portrait of myself, as acurate as possible. Her band is a different color blue because I wanted her to be 'realistic', so I attempted to make it a blue roan color instead.Still came out blue, but oh well. o.O
Even with all that, I hope you can appreciate the level of DETAIL I put into this picture. I tried so hard to paint this, and make it..better than the others in my gallery. I hope you can tell.
Oh, and no reference for once.Which, you can tell. lol. I love her eyes the best.

If I don't create or draw...I get really bored
I found that that tutorial is great for hair. There will be times when you can and can't use dodge and burn, but usually, it works for me.
